We are seeking a dedicated Spice Mixer to join our client’s team in Belcamp, MD. This role involves blending and mixing seasonings and spices according to customer specifications. If you have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality, we’d love to hear from you.

As a Spice Mixer, you will be responsible for following detailed instructions to create high-quality spice blends. Working closely with the Operator, you will ensure that each batch meets our rigorous standards and is packaged correctly.

Responsibilities

Follow detailed batch card instructions to blend spices and seasonings to customer specifications.

Verify the quality of the product with the QC Lab before starting each run and visually inspect the product during the process.

Assist in filling out the batch card during and after each run, ensuring accurate records.

Help calculate total cartons/bags produced and reconcile any discrepancies between batch weight and total weight.

Adhere to all safety, food safety, and quality guidelines established by the company and governmental agencies.

Perform other tasks as assigned by the Operator or management.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED.

Warehouse experience, particularly in food manufacturing.

Machine operator experience is preferred.

Skills:

Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively at all levels.

Basic math and problem-solving abilities.

Must be able to read, write, and understand English

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and walk long distances.

Capable of pushing, pulling, lifting, and carrying heavy items up to 100 lbs.

Ability to perform tasks involving extended arm movements and manual dexterity.

Comfortable working at heights and climbing ladders.

Ability to work in noisy, dusty environments and withstand temperature extremes.

Schedule

1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

2nd Shift: 3:30 PM – 12:00AM

Pay Rates

1st Shift: $20 per hour

2nd Shift: $21 per hour
