Job Description

On behalf of our client, a leader in automation solutions for warehouses, manufacturing, and industrial sectors, we are seeking a Senior Financial Controller. This role is responsible for directing all accounting and finance functions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering the financial insights needed to drive operational and strategic decisions.

 

Key Responsibilities

Lead accounting operations (GL, AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, and reporting).
Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
Manage internal controls, policies, and SOX/GAAP compliance.
Oversee tax filings, audits, and relationships with auditors, banks, and regulators.
Monitor cash flow, working capital, and cost structures; recommend improvements.
Provide variance analysis against budgets and forecasts, identifying risks/opportunities.
Support executive leadership in financial planning, capital allocation, and strategic projects.
Supervise, mentor, and build capability within the finance team.

 

Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA strongly preferred).
5+ years of progressive financial management experience, with at least 2 years in a controller or senior finance leadership role.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax, and regulatory requirements.
Experience with cost accounting, inventory control, and project-based accounting in manufacturing or industrial settings.
Experience in the electronics or electronic automation manufacturing industry is a strong plus.
Proficiency with ERP and financial software (QuickBooks, pcMRP, or similar) and advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling).
Demonstrated ability to streamline financial processes and reporting systems.
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
