Duties
Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing surfaces to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards. Implement proper sanitation procedures for bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to ensure health safety compliance. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items efficiently. Operate various cleaning equipment including floor buffers, carpet cleaners, and vacuum cleaners with skill and safety awareness. Manage outdoor cleaning responsibilities such as trash removal, outdoor surface cleaning, and maintaining landscaped areas when required. Use appropriate cleaning detergents and chemicals safely while adhering to health and safety guidelines. Communicate effectively with clients regarding specific cleaning needs or concerns, providing excellent customer service at all times.
Qualifications
Proven experience in residential or custodial cleaning roles with knowledge of cleaning procedures and sanitation standards. Familiarity with floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, polishing, and floor maintenance. Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively within scheduled shifts. Experience with cleaning surfaces using various tools and chemicals while following safety protocols. Knowledge of housekeeping management practices for maintaining organized work environments. Outdoor work experience is a plus, demonstrating adaptability in different settings.
