About the job you’re considering

Background in Java, and experience working with any functional tool is mandatory

Your role

  • Develop and maintain end-to-end automated test scripts using Playwright and WebdriverIO.
  • Design and execute functional, regression, and performance tests across multiple browsers and platforms.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA analysts to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
  • Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and report defects with clear documentation.
  • Maintain and enhance test frameworks for scalability, reusability, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Manage test data, mocks, and fixtures for consistent and reliable test environments.
  • Track and improve test coverage, reliability, and execution speed.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to QA best practices across teams.

Your skills and experience

  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and modern test automation tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright and WebdriverIO.
  • Familiarity with test runners like Jest, Mocha, or TestCafe.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and issue tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Knowledge of REST API testing, mocking, and network interception.
  • Understanding of cross-browser testing, headless execution, and parallel test strategies.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and cloud-based testing environments.
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
  • Familiarity with BDD frameworks (e.g., Cucumber).
