Job Description
- Internal Job Title: Production Operator
- Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time
- Location: Danville, Virginia (350 Stinson Drive)
- Work Model: On-site
- Work Hours: Shift: 3 x 12 hours (7am-7 pm;7pm-7 am); 2 days on, 2 days off, 3 days on, 3 days off; ***NOTE*** – it is highly likely that this position will be a night shift position
- Wage: $16.47/hr + night shift premium of $1.50/hr
- Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate laser engraving, printing, and mailing equipment
- Troubleshoot minor equipment malfunctions and correct as directed
- Examine printed product for flaws or defects
- Various other duties and responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
- Legally eligible to work in the USA
- Fluent in English (speak, read, write)
- Basic math skills
- Basic computer literacy (comfortable using a computer)
Able to stand for prolonged periods, walk/bend/reach and lift and carry up to 45 lbs. Able to follow instructions
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in a manufacturing, warehousing, or fast-paced retail environment High school diploma or GED
