The Front End Developer at Ford Motor Company will work within the Product Development (PD) Platform Operations team to maintain and enhance Ford’s PLM systems (Dassault 3DEXPERIENCE & Siemens Teamcenter) and deliver enterprise-scale web applications. Responsibilities include developing responsive applications using modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js), building reusable UI component libraries, integrating APIs (REST/GraphQL), optimizing web performance, implementing accessibility (WCAG), ensuring frontend security, deploying cloud-native applications (AWS, GCP, Azure), and managing CI/CD pipelines with automated testing. The role also involves collaborating with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and stakeholders, and mentoring on frontend best practices.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, 5+ years front-end development, proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, modern frameworks, experience with cloud ecosystems, agile development experience, strong problem-solving and communication skills. Previous experience in manufacturing, automotive, or enterprise B2B apps preferred.
Location & Logistics: Dearborn, MI; hybrid onsite up to 3 days/week. Relocation assistance provided, visa sponsorship not available.
