Responsibilities:
Inspect chimneys and fireplaces to assess their condition and identify any issues or potential hazards.
Perform chimney sweeps to remove creosote, soot, and debris.
Repair or replace chimney liners, caps, and dampers as needed.
Provide recommendations to clients regarding maintenance, repairs, or upgrades.
Create and provide estimates to clients
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and follow proper procedures.
Maintain accurate records of inspections, cleanings, and repairs.
Communicate with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
Accountable/Reliable
Ability to use power tools
Ability to lift 80lbs
Ability to climb ladders and work at heights.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Basic carpentry and masonry knowledge
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
Relevant certifications are a plus (NFI, CSIA, NCSG)
