GT Mid Atlantic, LLC., a leading construction equipment dealership in MD, DE, PA, and NJ, has an immediate opening for a SERVICE MANAGER.
The Service Manager is responsible for:
- Supervision of 7+ shop and field service technicians with potential for growth
- Overseeing the maintenance & repair, housekeeping and security of the branch facility and equipment
- Training and safety programs for all branch employees
- Planning and monitoring of service department sales and expense activity
- Hiring and evaluation of all service department personnel at the branch
The successful candidate will have:
- A good working knowledge of operations and mechanical functions
- Solid shop floor management knowledge
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Supervisory and management training in related fields
- Leadership skills in a specialized repair environment
- A solid understanding of pricing principles and discounting effects
- Working knowledge of shop layout
- Good communications skills with customers, co-workers and management
