Job Description

GT Mid Atlantic, LLC., a leading construction equipment dealership in MD, DE, PA, and NJ, has an immediate opening for a SERVICE MANAGER.

The Service Manager is responsible for:

  • Supervision of 7+ shop and field service technicians with potential for growth
  • Overseeing the maintenance & repair, housekeeping and security of the branch facility and equipment
  • Training and safety programs for all branch employees
  • Planning and monitoring of service department sales and expense activity
  • Hiring and evaluation of all service department personnel at the branch

The successful candidate will have:

  • A good working knowledge of operations and mechanical functions
  • Solid shop floor management knowledge
  • Strong diagnostic skills
  • Supervisory and management training in related fields
  • Leadership skills in a specialized repair environment
  • A solid understanding of pricing principles and discounting effects
  • Working knowledge of shop layout
  • Good communications skills with customers, co-workers and management
