We are seeking a Senior HVAC Installation Technician (Lead) on behalf of a client in the Greater Baltimore area. This role focuses on leading residential HVAC installation projects, ensuring quality workmanship, and supporting installation teams in delivering efficient and professional service. The position includes working on ductless mini-split systems, conventional ducted systems, and residential HVAC equipment within a regional service area.
Responsibilities
• Lead residential HVAC system installation projects from start to completion
• Install multi-zone and single-zone ductless mini-split systems
• Perform conventional ducted system change-outs and equipment installations
• Support installation, service, and maintenance activities on residential HVAC equipment
• Collaborate with other technicians to execute installation plans safely and efficiently
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and ensure compliance with installation standards
• Provide professional customer interaction during onsite projects
• Maintain tools, equipment, and documentation related to installation work
Requirements
• Minimum 5 years of HVAC installation or service experience
• Universal CFC Certification required
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Experience with heat pumps and gas furnaces
• Experience installing ductless mini-split systems
• Tankless water heaters or boiler experience is a plus
• Construction experience beneficial
• Ability to lead projects and work independently in field environments
Schedule
• Full-time
• Field-based work covering approximately a 30-mile radius around Baltimore
Compensation and Benefits
• $28.00 – $36.00 per hour (based on experience and skillset)
