TBest Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Receiver / Material Handler to support warehouse and production operations. This role is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and verifying incoming materials, electrical components, and hardware to ensure accuracy and quality before distribution to production.

The ideal candidate has experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment and understands inventory control, documentation, and material flow processes.

Location: Elkridge, MD
Pay Rate: $20–$23 per hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm to become permanent

Key Responsibilities

Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy, damage, and compliance with purchase orders.

Verify quantities, part numbers, and specifications against packing slips and POs.

Accurately enter receiving data into the ERP system.

Label and properly store materials in designated warehouse locations.

Coordinate with Purchasing and Production regarding shortages, discrepancies, or damaged goods.

Maintain organized and clean receiving and storage areas.

Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits as needed.

Operate forklifts or pallet jacks (if certified).

Follow all safety procedures and warehouse best practices.

Qualifications

2+ year of experience in receiving, warehouse, or material handling (manufacturing preferred).

Experience working with electrical components, hardware, or industrial materials is a plus.

Familiarity with ERP systems and basic computer skills.

Ability to read purchase orders and shipping documentation accurately.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Forklift certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Basic understanding of inventory control processes.

Experience supporting production environments.

Strong communication skills to coordinate with multiple departments.
