Starbucks is opening a new location in downtown Nashville at historic Cummins Station (corner of Demonbreun and 10th Ave S) in August 2024. As a Starbucks Barista, you will create the Starbucks Experience for customers through excellent service and expertly-crafted products. You will work in an energetic store environment, mastering food and beverage craft, collaborating with teammates, and connecting with new people every day. Baristas have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on each customer’s day, reflecting Starbucks’ mission and values.
You’d make a great barista if you enjoy meeting people, working as part of a team, delivering great customer service, focusing on quality, learning new things, handling responsibilities such as cash and store safety, remaining calm in fast-paced environments, maintaining a clean workspace, and communicating effectively.
Summary of Experience: No previous experience required.
Basic Qualifications: Maintain regular attendance and punctuality; work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays; follow store operating policies including quality beverage and food preparation, cash handling, and store safety; engage with customers to understand and respond to their needs; prepare food and beverages to standard or customized recipes; and perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to learn quickly; follow oral and written instructions; strong interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively as part of a team; and ability to build relationships.
